A crucial pillar of our mission is to empower American Muslims specially the young generation. Beside giving youth the leadership tool kit they need in order to challenge a world of injustice, we make sure Muslim youth are safe and well-protected in the public school system. That is why CAIR-TX Austin/DFW is committed to deliver anti-bullying workshops for Muslim families and collect bi-annual data regarding bullying incidents that Middle and High School Muslim youth encounter in Public Schools. The graduates of the youth leadership program are eligible to join CAIR-TX youth arm, Young Muslims Leadership Council (YMLC) where they can apply and refine the leadership skills they learned.
